Microsoft is offering students around the world access to professional-level developer and design tools at no coast through DreamSpark. DreamSpark is an initiative from Microsoft designed to “inspire students to explore the power of software and encourage them to forge the next wave of software-driven breakthroughs."
The DreamSpark program includes Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition, Visual Studio 2008 Pro; XNA Game Studio 2.0; Visual Studio 2005 Pro, Expression Blend; Expression Design, etc.
Currently this opportunity is available for the students in the US, UK, Canada, China, Germany, France, Finland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Belgium and more countries will be added in future.

I know about this promotions and I am quite sad as I cannot use it - you have to be a full time student to take advantage of this promotion. I would have loved to have enterprise edition of office for only 64$ though...
