Sony Ericsson has announced a new Walkman phone, the W660, with a good style and feel. To be available in black and red colors, the W660 can store up to 470 full-length songs (in eAAC+ format) on the bundled 512 MB Memory Stick Micro (M2) card.
The phone also sports 3G support, a 2-megapixel camera with 2.5x digital zoom and Picture Blogging capability. It can deliver RSS feeds straight to the phone's desktop to keep users up-to-date on the latest news and gossip.
The phone's Walkman player comes in version 2.0 with support for Album Art and TrackID, which allows you to record & upload clips of unrecognised tracks to Gracenote, from where you’ll receive back the name of both track and artist.
W660 also supports Music Bluetooth Receiver MBR-100, or the Stereo Bluetooth Headset HBH- DS970. A FM radio has also been incorporated, and the battery life is claimed to deliver 25 hours of music listening when the phone's GSM/UMTS radio is shut off.
