Malina - First alpha release of Amarok 2.0

Amarok, the renowned program for playing multimedia content for Linux arrives at the first milestone with the release of Amarok 2.0. Code named ‘Malina’, this Alpha release lays the groundwork for a release on all major platforms (Amarok 2.0 will also work on Windows and Mac, and installers will be available).
Amarok is really a great player with many exciting features like Album covers, lyric supports, Wikipedia integration, contextual information, Last fm integration, various multimedia device supports, etc and this new version o Amarok 2 has many expectations.
The main is its new look, which promises really magic with the use of vector graphics, the new interface much emphasis on the development of new Plasmoidis (mini-applications that are an integral part of Plasma)
The new scripting interface is fully based on Qt technology. The Dynamic and new Biased playlists will let you specify dynamic playlist for any occasion.
This Alpha release lays the groundwork for a release on all major platforms. Future releases will feature Linux, Windows and MacOS versions.
