Desktop tools is a very simple, very lite, one click hide /show desktop icons solution. It sits in the system tray, and with a single click, all your desktop icons are gone, another click will restore all.
Desktop tools instantly hide and show desktop icons without flashing, or messing anything else around, or taking a few seconds (below 10 seconds) to actually do the job, or without hiding desktop widgets at the same time.
You can show/hide the desktop icons by left clicking on the Tray Icon or right clicking on the Tray Icon and selecting the Hide/Show Desktop Icons menu item or simply by pressing CTRL+1 button.
