FlickrEdit is a Java Desktop application that allows you to display and edit your photos in a variety of ways. With this utility you are able to organize, modify, download/backup or upload your photos to and from Flickr. It is similar to official Flickr Uploader but with a main difference that you may back up the image locally by tags, title, labels or favorites.Following are the features of this application:

• Display your Flickr Photos and Sets
• Display your Not in Set, Recent, Favorites, Contacts and Group photos
• Search photos based on date and tag
• Backup your Flickr Photos and Sets

PhotoSoup is a visual word puzzle generator that allows users to create word search puzzles with tag-photo pairs taken from Flickr. The tag is hidden in the puzzle, and only the associated photo is shown as a clue.

The objective is to find all hidden tags in the puzzle before you run out of time.

To create and play a new puzzle, you have to provide a topic, such as "zoo". Alternatively, you can use your own username to generate a puzzle that shows your photos. Of course you can also check out the photos your friends have posted on Flickr.

Most of the Flickr API Kits is that they require you to have your own server running such as PHP, Ruby, Java, or Cold Fusion or a copy of Flash.

With MooPix you can build a simple DHTML page without server dependencies. Instead of server-side code, MooPix uses JavaScript to talk to Flickr in the language of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation). Flickrcash is a pretty search engine for finding images on Flickr. Unlike Flickr search you will get a whole more image per page. Just enter a keyword in the search box; you will get thumbnail view of pictures. Click on a thumbnail for a slightly larger image, and an option to see different sizes.

You can see metadata when you place mouse over an image, including Flickr description and tags.
